Our hotel serves a full American breakfast in the hotel’s lovely dining room under the Tamarind tree.
Awake to the smell of fresh Puerto Rican coffee served with hot milk or tea to suit individual preferences.
Daily menu items include hot or cold cereals, fresh fruit, toast, eggs in any style, and a choice of bacon, ham, or sausage. We believe in serving fresh local foods. Our bread is made at a bakery in the fishing village of Esperanza, while our fruit comes from local farmers, served in season.
Breakfast is cooked and served by local Viequense ladies who aim to ensure good service with a local flair. The head cook, a teenager when she started, has been with us for over 20 years. If guests want to spend the entire day at one of Vieques Island’s exquisite beaches — where there are no bars, restaurants, or kiosks — request a Hacienda Tamarindo box lunch, prepared for one or two in a backpack cooler.
